Job summary

Opticore IT is seeking a Senior Platform Architect in the London area for a 6-month contract inside IR35. The role focuses on leading cloud infrastructure design and delivery, with one day on-site per week at White City.

You will work alongside post-production and solutions architects to translate requirements into viable, cost-efficient cloud architectures. You will design GPU-enabled AWS workflows, enterprise streaming solutions, and robust storage architectures, while prioritising zero-trust

Qualifications

Requires AWS cloud and architecture expertise.
Experience with secure, scalable cloud design.
Background in video workflows or media environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy a proxy and full-resolution video editing in AWS using GPU-accelerated workstations where needed.
Utilize streaming infrastructure such as Teradici/Amazon DCV for editors located in offices or remotely.
Design for locations without Direct Connect and for remote workers over the public Internet with zero-trust security.
Create cost-optimised storage using AWS storage tiers and integrate file-system capable storage software.
Ensure compatibility with AWS object storage and software requirements for applications.
