Job summary

10x Banking is looking for a Software Engineer to join our remote-first team, delivering scalable backend systems for a cloud-native core banking platform.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, Kubernetes and AWS, building distributed microservices, and mentoring junior developers. This role combines hands-on design and implementation with opportunities to influence architectural decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid Java software development, ideally Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3.x.x.
• Demonstrated Test-driven development, writing unit/integration/functional tests for web services.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• SQL databases knowledge, especially PostgreSQL.
• CI/CD mindset and build tools like Gradle/Maven.
• Designing and building cloud-based microservices in distributed environments.
• Experience deploying production-grade JVM-based microservices in Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
