Job summary
Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior IT Infrastructure and Cloud Specialist to deliver infrastructure, cloud, and modern workplace projects across a diverse customer base. You will design and implement secure, scalable IT solutions aligned with business objectives and build trusted relationships as a strategic technical advisor.

Qualifications
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, AD and Exchange Online.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, SQL, AWS and hybrid infrastructures.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Excellent understanding of LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, switching, routing and wireless networking.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and research multiple data sources.
Responsibilities
- Deliver infrastructure, cloud and modern workplace projects for a diverse customer base.
- Design and implement secure, scalable IT solutions aligned to customers' business objectives.
- Build trusted customer relationships as a strategic technical advisor.
- Review customer environments to improve performance, resilience, security, and user experience.
- Lead cloud adoption and infrastructure modernisation including Microsoft 365 and Azure in hybrid environments.
- Maintain customer environments following Cyber Essentials best practices.
- Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure and support issues.
- Own major incidents and change requests through completion.
- Mentor and support Service Desk engineers.
- Collaborate across Professional Services, Service Delivery and Account Management.
