Job Description:

Kent – Hybrid (2-3 days on site)

VIQU has partnered with a leading automotive organization to expand their Cloud team. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding cloud architecture, implementing security best practices, and providing solutions to security challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Take ownership of key cloud initiatives as a senior technical stakeholder.
• Collaborate with the Security team to ensure compliance with standards.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Partner with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering.
• Expertise in AWS cloud networking and infrastructure support (Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPCs).
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes environments, both on-premises and cloud.
• At least 4 years of AWS security experience (VPC, EKS, EC2, IAM, Route 53).
• Experience in system architecture, including compute, memory, and storage.
• Proactive with a growth mindset, aiming for Architect-level progression.
