Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is seeking a Senior Delivery Engineer to lead infrastructure, migration and cloud transformation projects for a large UK organisation. You will deliver VMware and Microsoft environments, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Windows Server, AD and Microsoft 365, with practical Azure and hybrid cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in infrastructure engineering and project delivery.
• Solid VMware experience across vSphere, ESXi and vCenter.
• Strong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Practical Azure / hybrid cloud experience.
• Experience delivering migrations, upgrades or infrastructure transformation projects.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and taking ownership of technical deliverables.
• Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, Terraform or Bicep would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivering infrastructure, migration and cloud projects for customers.
• Building and migrating VMware and Microsoft environments.
• Working across VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Supporting technical discovery, implementation, testing, migration and go-live.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and acting as a technical escalation point.
• Producing technical documentation, migration plans and handover material.
• Working closely with project managers, architects and engineering teams.
• Supporting automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
