Job summary

Google Cloud's Mandiant is seeking a Senior Incident Response Security Consultant (Mid) to lead advanced incident response engagements across cloud and on-prem environments. You will perform forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage, guiding clients through investigations and containment with clear executive communication.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of investigative experience, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5 years of investigative experience in network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.
• 5 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, client-facing incident response engagements examining cloud, endpoint, and network sources.
• Codify attacker tools, TTPs, and IOCs for current and future investigations.
• Build scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance incident investigations.
• Develop and present reports, trainings, and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Conduct host and network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of investigations.
