Job summary

Google Cloud\'s Mandiant team seeks an experienced Incident Response Consultant to lead large, client-facing engagements across cloud, endpoint and network environments. You\'ll identify attacker tools and indicators, and translate findings into actionable guidance while coordinating with executives and legal counsel.

You will train and mentor junior consultants, develop robust reports and trainings, and deliver strategic recommendations under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage analysis, cloud forensics, or memory forensics
• 5 years of experience working end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions
• Experience in Linux or Unix
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead large client-facing incident response engagements, examine cloud, endpoint, and network-based sources of evidence
• Recognize and codify attacker tools, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) and indicators of compromise (IOCs) for investigations
• Build scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance incident investigation processes
• Develop and present comprehensive reports, trainings, and presentations for technical and executive audiences
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of investigations

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage analysis, cloud forensics, or memory forensics

5 years of experience working end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions

Experience in Linux or Unix
