We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to work with Asda web Ingress team the role will include design, implement, manage, and support of Cloudflare web performance and security solutions along with Azure security processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure cloud solutions that align with our business goals.

What You'll Love

• Integrate and manage Cloudflare services including CDN, DDoS protection, WAF, Zero Trust, DNS, SSL and associated certificate management.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, Cloudflare).
• Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools using Terraform.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise Cloudflare system for performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement pipelines.
• Ensure solutions comply with security standards and best practices.
• Maintain documentation of web security systems, architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend Cloudflare solutions to business and SecOps requirements.

What You'll Need

• Web Security knowledge
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript.
• Experience with Azure pipelines and associated DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud-native services.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Some working knowledge of Cloudflare services (e.g., DNS, Access, Zero Trust, WAF, Bot Management).
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform.

Advantageous Experience:

• Hands-on experience in managing web application firewalls (WAF), DDoS mitigation, and secure networking.

• Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or GCP Cloud Engineer).
• Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Cloudflare Certified.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and implementation.
