Job summary

UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology in Lancaster is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, development and delivery of cloud-native solutions for Digital Research Infrastructure. You will work across hybrid cloud environments with researchers and IT staff to improve interoperability and data integration.

The role emphasizes architecture leadership, collaboration, and contribution to research outputs while advancing agile and DevOps practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in line management and mentoring.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
