Job summary

UCL Information Services Division (ISD) is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (Enterprise Storage) to design, implement and optimise storage and backup services that underpin the university’s IT infrastructure.

You will work across private and public cloud environments, applying data protection strategies, disaster recovery capabilities and automation to deliver resilient, scalable services for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows or Linux systems in a service-oriented infra.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage and backup technologies.
• Ability to solve problems with incomplete information and show analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve storage and data protection platforms.
• Support resilience, disaster recovery and platform performance.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver scalable services.
