Job summary

VOIS invites a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate Vodafone's cloud infrastructure and platform services from London. You will treat infrastructure as software, defining it in code and testing and releasing it through automated pipelines.

You will own major components and partner with Cloud Architects and engineering teams to deliver secure, observable and resilient systems. You will work on cloud networking, automation, platform services and cost optimisation while mentoring

Qualifications

5+ years of cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
Hands-on design, build and operation of cloud-native infrastructure and services.
Strong IaC experience with Terraform or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services via code and automation.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code modules and deployment pipelines.
Deliver reliable environments and reusable platform capabilities for engineering teams and customer-facing services.
Build monitoring, observability and operational controls into infrastructure from the outset.
Support production environments and perform root-cause analysis of incidents.
