Job summary

Cloud People in Bath and Bristol is seeking an Azure-focused role within a growing MSP. You will drive the Azure roadmap, deliver end-to-end Azure projects, and expand Modern Work alongside security integration, with hybrid onsite three days per week.

You will shape technical direction, own delivery from scoping to handover, and work directly with customers as the technical lead while contributing to pre-sales scoping where relevant.

Qualifications

• Currently working in an MSP or Microsoft partner environment, delivering projects rather than supporting them.
• Hands on Azure experience across infrastructure, migrations and identity
• Solid Microsoft 365 delivery experience including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune
• Genuinely autonomous, comfortable being handed a project and trusted to run it
• Microsoft Security exposure is highly desirable, particularly Defender, Entra and Conditional Access
• Certifications such as AZ 104, AZ 305, MS 102 or SC 300 are welcome, though delivery track record matters more
• Commutable to Bath or Bristol for three days a week onsite

• Deliver Microsoft 365 and modern workplace projects including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune
• Build security into project work as standard, across Defender, Entra and Purview
• Help set the technical direction for how Azure work gets scoped, delivered and repeated
• Work directly with customers as the technical point of contact during delivery
• Support scoping and pre sales where your input shapes the right solution
• Keep documentation and handover quality high so projects land cleanly with the service desk

An established Microsoft Solutions Partner and managed service provider working with SMEs across the South West, and one of the faster growing IT businesses in the region. They hold Solutions Partner designations spanning Modern Work, Infrastructure, Security and Data & AI, alongside security accreditations most providers their size do not carry, and have recently opened a second office as part of a deliberate growth push.

They are moving their entire client base to the cloud, across both Modern Work and Azure. They are early in that journey, and this role exists to drive the Azure side of it forward. It will not be pure Azure from day one, the Microsoft 365 and modern workplace work is real and ongoing, but the direction of travel is settled and the balance tips further towards Azure as the client base migrates.

That is the honest version of the pitch. If you are in an MSP doing good project work but your Azure exposure is capped by how fast your customers are willing to move, this is a chance to be the person setting that pace rather than waiting on it.
