Job summary

Entrust is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to manage our AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on EKS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable systems supporting microservices with a strong emphasis on reliability and automation.

The role requires deep AWS experience, containerization expertise, and hands-on deployment of infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or related field.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with EKS clusters and service mesh (Istio).
• CI/CD expertise with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with day-2 operations (upgrades, backups, cost optimization).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure to support microservices.
• Manage and operate EKS clusters and Kubernetes resources.
• Develop and enforce IaC practices using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and tooling for deployment automation.
