Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team. You will support customers refactoring, replatforming and rehosting mission-critical systems into AWS, enabling transformation through Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.

You will work across diverse technologies and national security missions, improving reliability, reducing costs and driving agility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
• AWS certification at Practitioner or Associate level, with experience designing and deploying cloud solutions.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of IPv4 networking, including subnetting and routing.
• Experience automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking across cloud and hybrid systems.
• Automate deployment, operation and maintenance tasks using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.
