Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer

Role clearance type: Must currently hold highest level of UK government clearance.

Responsibilities

Working with stakeholders to design AWS and hybrid‑cloud systems.
Designing and building solutions in AWS.
Administering systems based on Linux and Windows operating systems.
Designing and troubleshooting IP networking systems for AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments.
Automating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling.

Experience

Proven experience in IT Systems Design, Deployment and Administration; recent roles in technical or team leadership positions.
AWS Certified – Associate level with experience designing, deploying and administering cloud‑based solutions.
Extensive experience administering Linux and Windows Operating Systems in large corporate environments.
Extensive experience designing, deploying and troubleshooting IPv4 networking, including subnetting, OSPF routing, VLANs and VPNs.
Experience automating tasks with Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.
