Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland in Birmingham seeks a Cloud DevOps Engineer to drive automation, CI/CD, and IaC across multiple cloud projects. You will promote a DevOps culture, work with client teams, and help implement scalable, secure cloud solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus strong scripting and ITSM familiarity. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep technical know-how and hands-on experience implementing integrated automation solutions using a broad range of DevOps toolsets.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform is preferred.
• Expertise with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment and management using Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DevOps toolchain execution across multiple projects.
• Promote DevOps culture in client organisations.
• Provide technical, consultative delivery services to customers.
• Lead CI/CD, automation, and IaC efforts for cloud service offerings.
• Set up and manage project development and test environments and CM processes.
• Drive adoption of DevOps tools and practices within client environments.
• Resolve issues and pursue necessary trainings and certifications.
