Job summary

Camden AI, a London‑based data and AI consultancy, is seeking a senior hands‑on data engineering leader to drive project delivery across multiple client engagements. You will design and implement data platforms using Azure, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, and own data pipelines, data quality and performance across varied environments.

Qualifications

• Significant hands‑on data engineering experience across multiple client environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on design, build and delivery of modern cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, Fabric).
• Write and review complex SQL for data transformation and reporting.
• Design, build and optimise production ETL/ELT pipelines with monitoring and error handling.
• Integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Develop scalable data models for warehouse/lakehouse architectures.
• Troubleshoot performance and data quality issues in dev and prod.
• Set engineering standards and mentor delivery teammates.
• Collaborate with architects to translate business needs into technical designs.
