Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Workforce Practitioner (Registered Nurse or AHP) to join the Clinical Workforce Team. The role supports cross-site collaboration between Colchester and Ipswich, with travel required to implement and evaluate clinical workforce projects.

You will need a strong knowledge of NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, NHS People Promise, and national clinical workforce initiatives, to help grow our workforce pipeline and strengthen patient

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) background.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, NHS People Promise, and regional clinical workforce initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior clinical staff, the workforce lead, ESNEFT recruitment and retention teams and the Faculty of Education to design, implement and evaluate clinical workforce projects.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clinical areas and corporate divisions to provide support and advice on ongoing projects.
• Help grow and develop our clinical workforce pipeline.
• Support delivery of trust-wide training for medical devices.
• Identify and develop resources to support retention of non-medical clinical staff.
• Support Safer Staffing agenda.
