Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Clinical Unit Manager at Freelands Croft in Fleet to lead a dedicated care team. You will drive high standards of clinical care, monitor residents' wellbeing and ensure accurate records, while promoting independence and dignity.

The role requires an NMC-registered nurse with strong leadership and communication skills. You will mentor staff, manage shifts (8am-8pm, 42 hours weekly) and build partnerships with families and local partners to raise the home’s profile.

Qualifications

• A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• You’re passionate about caring for the elderly and have a flair for helping people maintain their independence, choice and dignity.
• An effective communicator who’s able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
• Someone who’s ready to use their clinical experience to lead, motivate and mentor a team – who’s able to delegate effectively and promote excellent customer service and relationships.
• A respectful and compassionate team player with the belief in giving your personal best.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ independence, choice and dignity by ensuring the team provides high standards of care at all times.
• Assess each resident’s wellbeing and maintain accurate records of physical, emotional and social needs.
• Deliver clinical guidance and lead by example to motivate and mentor the team for safe, smooth, and efficient running of the care home.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, and foster a sense of community within the home.
• Liaise with local partners to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
