Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Trials Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) for a permanent position in Oxford. The role involves managing the supply chain of clinical trial medications to research teams and maintaining financial records and drug accountability across Trust sites.

The successful candidate will support in closing down studies, archiving, and coordinating with sponsors.

Qualifications

• BTEC Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or an equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Service Skills.
• A related degree in pharmaceutical or science may be accepted in lieu of the BTEC qualification.
• Applicants without the specified qualifications will still be considered but must undertake the provided relevant qualification in Pharmacy Service Skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the supply chain of clinical trial medications to research nurses.
• Maintain financial records and drug accountability.
• Close down and archive completed studies and support sponsor meetings.
