Job summary

University of Cambridge offers a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship in Veterinary Medicine with a tax‑free stipend of £29,600 per annum for an initial year, renewable annually for up to three years. Qualifications

• Register for a post‑graduate qualification by enrolling in the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
• Undertake core training in all aspects of academic and clinical anaesthesia, pain management, peri‑operative medicine and critical care.
• Complete external rotations for large animal anaesthesia and critical care to meet ECVAA credentialing requirements.
• Conduct and publish a research project.
• Participate in one‑to‑one and small‑group teaching of veterinary students.
• Attend weekly departmental research and clinical seminars, journal and book clubs.

Available to start Monday 01 February 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter. This Senior Clinical Training Scholarship (SCTS) offers a tax‑free stipend of £29,600.00 per annum and is funded for one year, renewable annually for up to three years. The programme provides specialist training in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia, including academic and clinical exposure at the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, external rotations for large animal anaesthesia, critical care, and research project publication. The training is approved by the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
