Job summary

The Learning Enterprise, the learning and development arm of HCRG Care Group, is hiring a Senior Trainer. The role is hybrid, based from a Surrey hub with national and regional travel, and offers 30 or 18.75 hours per week.

Applicants must be registered with a regulator (NMC/HCPC/etc.), hold a degree or equivalent, and have a Level 4 teaching qualification. Responsibilities include designing, delivering and updating blended learning across health and care specialisms, supporting curriculum

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Level 4 teaching, training or assessing qualification.
• Current registration with a regulator such as NMC/HCPC/GDC/Social Work/GMC.
• Proven experience delivering training across clinical health and care.

This Senior Trainer post sits within The Learning Enterprise, the learning and development arm of HCRG Care Group, which trains both internal teams and external clients. The work centres on designing, delivering and updating blended learning across health and care specialisms, and supporting curriculum development. The role is hybrid, based from a Surrey hub with national and regional travel, and is offered at either 30 or 18.75 hours a week. Fit depends on a current registration with a regulator such as the NMC or HCPC, a degree or equivalent experience, and a Level 4 teaching qualification.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Level 4 (or higher) teaching, training or assessing qualification

Registration & licences

• Current professional registration with NMC, HCPC, GDC, Social Work or GMC

Experience

• Proven experience delivering training across clinical health and care specialisms
• Strong background in clinical practice (AHP, nursing or social work)
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop and deliver high-quality blended learning

Skills & knowledge

• Confidence using digital tools for training and learning delivery
• Knowledge of curriculum design, course development and research-informed practice
• Genuine passion for developing others and improving care outcomes

Checks & eligibility

• Disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks

Nice to have

• Line management or leadership experience
• Postgraduate qualification in Education, Health or Social Care
• Project Management qualification
• Experience providing clinical supervision or mentoring
