Job summary

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Team Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee service development for patient care. You will deploy staff, supervise activities, and drive the implementation of innovative care models.

The role requires robust clinical governance, quality monitoring, and active involvement in research and audit to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with registration.
• Degree level training and teaching qualification required.
• Post-registration qualification specific to role and a master’s in health/leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the overall management and development of the team and resources.
• Line management of the team with accountability for delivery of patient care.
• Lead and support innovative models of care for patients.
• Ensure clinical governance, quality monitoring and audit of practice.
• Promote patient safety and continuity of care across the community.
