Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Practitioner to join the Agile Research Delivery Team, a mobile group delivering NIHR Portfolio research across West Yorkshire. The role involves working across secondary and wider care settings, travelling to multiple sites and coordinating all aspects of study delivery.

Qualifications

Experience delivering research in a dynamic environment.
Experience of community based practice.

Responsibilities

Manages multiple concurrent projects and research sites, requiring flexibility and adjustment according to demand.
Manages all aspects of study delivery including; screening, recruitment (including obtaining informed consent), delivering interventions, follow ups, data management, sample collection and processing, across all specialties and settings.
Act in accordance with current legislation, including Good Clinical Practice, research governance legislation, and the Data Protection Act.
Contribute to the leadership and management of a dedicated research delivery and support team, with adherence to Host policies and procedures, including supervision, mentorship and staff reviews to identify training and development needs and managing performance against objectives.
The following areas of expertise are advantageous but not essential: Commercial Research Delivery with IMP administration, Mental Health, Community or District Nursing, Supporting those living with Dementia and Prisons.
