Our client, an international clinical research organisation (CRO), is currently looking for a Senior Clinical Research Physician to join their team at their state-of-the-art site in London.

Role Overview

As a Senior Clinical Research Physician, you will lead early-stage clinical trials, manage study protocols, and ensure ethical conduct and compliance. You will collaborate with a sponsor team and contribute to projects that advance healthcare and improve patient outcomes.

You will focus on enhancing patient safety, improving quality systems, and ensuring high standards of data for drug development.

This role offers leadership and personal development opportunities. Being a relatively new site, you will have the chance to grow and lead a clinical research team and influence sponsor projects.

Location and Sponsorship

The client is open to candidates within the UK; however, sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide medical direction, oversee protocol compliance, and ensure participant safety.
2. Evaluate and interpret clinical data, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
3. Assist in scientific feasibility assessments and guide clinical operations.
4. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain documentation and confidentiality.

Requirements

1. Medical degree (MD) – essential.
2. Full and current GMC registration – essential.
3. Experience in clinical research or trials.
