Job summary

The role involves managing a portfolio of studies from feasibility to close-out, screening and recruitment, data management, and ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and the UK Policy Framework. Collaboration across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire group may occur.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and delivering clinical research across a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks for clinical research.
• Experience with screening, recruitment, consent, and follow-up.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and UK policy framework.
• Ability to manage and improve research processes and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support delivery of high-quality clinical research across Northampton General Hospital.
• Manage a portfolio of clinical studies from feasibility through close-out.
• Oversee screening, recruitment, consent, and follow-up of participants.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with ICH-GCP and relevant frameworks.
• Provide leadership to the research nursing team and administrative staff.
• Collaborate across sites within the UHN group as required.
