The Memory Assessment Service at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct neuropsychological assessments for adults with suspected dementia, deliver diagnoses, and help develop supportive care plans with patients and families, while supervising an Assistant Psychologist and contributing to CPD and service development.

Qualifications

• Carry out comprehensive diagnostic assessments for suspected dementia.
• Deliver dementia diagnoses and develop care plans with patients and families.
• Perform neuropsychological assessments and interpret results.
• Contribute to service audits and CPD programme.

Responsabilités

• Carry out comprehensive diagnostic assessment with service users.
• Deliver diagnosis of dementia and develop a Support Plan with the service user and family.
• Contribute to ongoing service audit, evaluation and development.
• Provide clinical supervision to an Assistant Psychologist.
• Engage in CPD and service development.
