Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) invites applications for a Band 6 Clinical Physiologist on the Sir Jules Thorn Telemetry Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London.

You will deliver high quality Video-EEG Telemetry studies for the epilepsy surgery program and neurological sleep services, interpret results, write reports, and contribute to MDT meetings, teaching, and research within a dynamic telemetry unit.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant NHS Band 6 level or be eligible.
• Experience with video EEG telemetry and epilepsy surgery programs.
• Ability to interpret results and write concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly complex, specialist Clinical Neurophysiology service.
• Interpret results and provide written reports, communicating with consultant staff.
• Present findings at the weekly MDT and contribute to ward rounds and teaching.
• Assist in research projects on the telemetry unit.
• Educate new staff and visitors on telemetry unit activity.
• Participate in quality assurance and audit within the department.
