Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist for a rotational post. The role involves six-month rotations across a wide range of specialist clinical areas, including potential exposure to critical care, specialist medicine, surgery, nutrition, paediatrics and medicines information.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert pharmaceutical knowledge to patients and to pharmacy, medical and nursing staff across a variety of specialties.
• Assist in providing and maintaining a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service to hospital wards and departments in line with trust policies.
• Work with the Clinical Lead Pharmacist and other senior staff to develop clinical and other services within the Trust.
• Support clinical training and supervision of junior staff within the department.
