Job summary

VerseOne Group seeks an enthusiastic senior clinical pharmacist for a rotational, six-month program across diverse clinical areas including critical care, medicine, surgery, paediatrics, and nutrition. You will deliver expert pharmaceutical care to patients and staff across wards, aligned with trust policies and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with GPhC
• Experience in hospital pharmacy and medicines information

Job description

This rotational post consists of 6 month rotations across a wide variety of specialist clinical areas which may include critical care, specialist medicine, surgery and nutrition, paediatrics and medicines information., You will provide expert pharmaceutical knowledge to patients, pharmacy, medical and nursing staff working across a variety of specialties and multidisciplinary teams.

Within your role you will need to assist in providing and maintaining a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service to hospital wards and departments in accordance with trust policies.

The post holder will work with the Clinical Lead Pharmacist and other senior members of staff to develop clinical and other services within the Trust.

The post holder will assist the Clinical Lead Pharmacist in providing clinical training and supervision of other departmental staff.
