Job summary

Premier Healthcare in New Milton, Hampshire is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to oversee nursing and care teams within a well-established care home.

The successful candidate will be NMC registered, provide clinical leadership, ensure safe, person-centred care, and drive governance, audits and staff development. This full-time, permanent role offers £50,000 per annum and the chance to advance within a senior clinical path.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration with post-registration experience.
• Experience leading a nursing or care team.
• Strong clinical knowledge and confident decision-making.
• Good knowledge of CQC, safeguarding and audits.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams.
• Maintaining high standards of clinical care and governance.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing nurses and care staff.
• Making confident clinical decisions and managing situations calmly under pressure.
• Completing and overseeing clinical audits, safeguarding and compliance checks.
• Supporting care planning, risk assessments and medication management.
• Ensuring care is delivered in line with CQC requirements and best practice.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
• Supporting the Home Manager with the overall delivery of high-quality care.
