Job summary

Applications are invited for a Subspecialty Senior Clinical Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, UK. The post starts from 04 February 2026 for 12 months. It is suitable for applicants who have completed or nearly completed a recognised anaesthetic specialist training programme, including those with a CCT in anaesthesia. The fellowship offers opportunities to develop expertise in anaesthesia for major trauma patients, with supervision tailored to experience, aiming for independent practice at junior consultant level with senior support.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Clinical Fellow will work at Junior Consultant level with support from Senior Consultants and participate in a non-resident on-call rota. Full GMC registration and a Licence to Practice are required. Please note, these posts are not formally recognized for postgraduate training.

Person Specification

Essential criteria: Demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English. UK registration required. Non-UK applicants must meet language requirements and provide criminal record certificates from past residencies.
