Applications are invited for a Subspecialty Senior Clinical Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, UK. The post starts from 04 February 2026 for 12 months. It is suitable for applicants who have completed or nearly completed a recognised anaesthetic specialist training programme, including those with a CCT in anaesthesia. The fellowship offers opportunities to develop expertise in anaesthesia for major trauma patients, with supervision tailored to experience, aiming for independent practice at junior consultant level with senior support.
The Senior Clinical Fellow will work at Junior Consultant level with support from Senior Consultants and participate in a non-resident on-call rota. Full GMC registration and a Licence to Practice are required. Please note, these posts are not formally recognized for postgraduate training.
The applicant must demonstrate effective communication skills in English, as per GMC standards. Non-UK applicants need IELTS/OET scores before obtaining a GMC license. Applications requiring UK skilled worker sponsorship are welcomed and will be considered alongside others. Addenbrooke's Hospital is a modern NHS facility in Cambridge, known for transplant services, regional specialties, and biomedical research.
