A leading NHS organization is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedic Knee Surgery to provide high-quality patient care and develop clinical skills. The role offers comprehensive exposure to various knee surgeries and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment. This position is primarily clinic-based in Ipswich with surgical responsibilities in Colchester.

The role will develop educational and experiential knowledge and skills in post-CCT level knee surgery. The fellow will have comprehensive exposure to the full spectrum of knee surgery, including primary and revision knee arthroplasty, uni-compartment replacement, robotics, osteotomy, arthroscopic, open soft tissue reconstructive knee surgery, and sports surgery. Supervised 'independent' operating, appropriate to competency, will be available, along with exposure to teaching lists. Although there is no formal rotaed on-call or trauma lists, there may be some rotaed weekend ward rounds with other fellows and opportunities to contribute to trauma lists, especially for complex trauma cases such as periprosthetic fractures and revisions.
This post will be primarily clinic-based at Ipswich and surgical at Colchester ESEOC, working with Mark Bowditch and Ryan Wood across both sites and collaborating with other knee surgeons.
