Job summaryThis is a one year appointment by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust(RFL). This post is available from August 2023 for a period of 12 months. Thesuccessful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of all types of ocular motilitydisorder and appropriate surgery. In addition, training will be provided in neuroophthalmology and adult cataract surgery.
Main duties of the jobThere will be wide exposure to paediatric ophthalmology including the management ofretinopathy of prematurity and paediatric anterior segment disorders. There will also bethe opportunity to attend adult neuro ophthalmology clinics, Botulinum toxin clinics andto perform adult cataract surgery (depending on previous surgical) experience. Thetimetable will comprise of 8 direct clinical care sessions and 2 study / admin sessionsin a Monday to Friday working week. The post comes with an on-call commitment andwill attract an appropriate salary supplement.
