The position is primarily based at Denmark Hill, with a possible 3-month rotation to Princess Royal University Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The role involves being part of the neurology/stroke SpR training team, based in the neurology unit. Responsibilities include ward care, outpatient clinics, acute thrombolysis on-call, and regional neurology bed cover. The appointee will supervise junior staff and participate in educational activities, including subspecialty meetings and grand rounds. Regular audit and clinical governance meetings are also part of the role.
