We are seeking a doctor to join the Gastroenterology Department at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. The role involves inpatient and outpatient duties. While primarily a service post, training opportunities will be available for successful applicants.
Applicants unable to undertake the duties of a full-time post due to personal reasons will be given equal consideration. If appointed, the job content will be modified accordingly in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management.
The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals.

The Department operates a 7-day-a-week, 8am-8pm on-call rota for Gastroenterology emergencies, to which the appointee will contribute. There will be opportunities to attend outpatient clinics, MDTs, and gain experience in endoscopy. The role offers a mix of service provision and training opportunities.
The appointee will be allocated a Clinical/Educational Supervisor to identify and plan training and personal development opportunities.
