Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior educator to rotate through skills, simulation and resuscitation services across its sites. You will deliver advanced education to staff of all grades, mentor junior educators and drive quality improvement in educational programmes.

Applicants must be a registered healthcare professional with teaching/supervision experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Primary clinical qualification such as RGN or allied health qualification.
• Graduate-level mentorship or formal teaching and assessing qualification.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced resuscitation, clinical skills and simulation education to staff.
• Plan and deliver specialist training/workshops to large groups and individuals at all levels.
• Lead quality improvement programmes to promote safe patient care through education.
• Update programmes to reflect current evidence and guidelines.
• Mentor and supervise junior educators and colleagues across sites.
