Job summary

Jenner Institute in Oxford is seeking a Senior Database Manager to support high-impact vaccine trials by managing data systems and ensuring data integrity. The role involves writing validation and testing plans, data management plans, and eCRF guidelines for clinical trials conducted in the UK and overseas.

The position is a full-time fixed-term contract until 31 July 2027, funded by Biomedical Research Centre.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification involving computing or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with information systems and managing complex datasets.
• Able to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements to processes, documentation and systems to ensure trial participant safety and data integrity.
• Implement clinical trial data management solution and manage trial data.
• Represent the Data Management team at senior meetings and support/ manage other data managers.
