Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Proton Clinical Outcomes Unit (PCOU). You will deliver high-quality data analytics and BI services, writing complex SQL queries and creating dashboards to support the Proton Registry and Evaluative Commissioning in Protons.

This contract role offers hybrid working with onsite at The Christie or from home. You'll collaborate with clinicians, analysts and statisticians to ensure data quality and timely reporting across NHS

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data, analytics and BI services in health or large data settings.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and data modelling.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems enable timely, accurate delivery of all mandatory data requirements.
• Deliver projects per procedures and timescales; support analysts and statisticians.
• Present complex information to diverse audiences in clear formats.
• Use software and data tools to analyse, interpret and resolve data queries.
• Represent the PCOU/Registry at meetings; report progress to the team.
• Lead data quality monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure practices comply with NHS, Trust policies and legislation.
• Liaise with external agencies, suppliers and contractors to ensure service delivery.
