Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join the Research and Innovation division. You will apply advanced analytics, predictive modeling and data visualization to shape clinical research.

You’ll work with EDGE, Florence, Tableau and NIHR reporting tools, develop dashboards and forecasts to support workforce planning and decision-making. Hybrid role with 2 days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data science, statistics or BI.
• Strong skills in R, Python, T-SQL and data visualization.
• Experience with NHS data standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, link, analyse large datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop dashboards, reports, forecasts for leadership and stakeholders.
• Model future trial activity and demand using statistical/ML methods.
• Ensure NHS data standards and GDPR compliance in solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and line management to junior staff.
