Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to provide expert psychological care within the Urgent Care Pathway (Home Treatment Team and Mental Health Liaison). The role spans mental and physical health needs across acute and community settings, coordinating care and ensuring smooth transitions.

You will supervise psychologists, contribute to service development, and deliver training to MDT teams, with strong communication across

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
• HCPC registration required and maintained.
• Experience in adult mental health and with complex/serious mental health problems.
• Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS.

Responsabilités

• Provide high quality psychological care for those in crisis and for those with mental health needs in the context of physical health conditions.
• Supervise qualified and trainee psychologists and MDT professionals as appropriate.
• Work with lead psychologist on service development to meet local needs and national objectives.
• Offer training and consultation to MDT professionals in community teams and acute hospital staff.
