Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. is seeking a dynamic Principal Technical Specialist to design and deliver capacity-building activities for the Global Capacity Building Coalition (GCBC) in London. The role collaborates with UN agencies, MDBs, philanthropies and finance providers to tailor programs for EMDEs and build strong stakeholder relationships.

The candidate will analyse market needs, co-create initiatives, and lead MEL-enabled evaluation while raising GCBC’s profile across digital channels and events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ global experience in climate and sustainable finance capacity building and training for finance professionals.
• Experience designing and facilitating capacity-building for EMDEs.
• Proven ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments with international and domestic organisations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake market and institutional needs analyses to identify capacity-building gaps and inform programme design.
• Facilitate co-creation of capacity-building initiatives with GCBC members and finance institutions.
• Design and facilitate climate and sustainable finance capacity-building programmes for financial institutions and regulators in EMDEs.
• Support development of MEL frameworks to assess delivery effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Raise GCBC profile by curating content and promoting resources through digital channels.
• Promote GCBC through events and learning fora.
