Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a dynamic Technical Specialist to design and facilitate capacity-building activities for the Global Capacity Building Coalition (GCBC). Based between London and New York, you will collaborate with GCBC members and finance professionals in EMDEs to deliver impactful climate finance training and education initiatives.

You will lead market analyses, co-create programs, and contribute to MEL frameworks while promoting high-quality resources and thought leadership across digital

Qualifications

• 10+ years of global experience in climate and sustainable finance capacity building, education or training.
• Strong track record designing and facilitating capacity building for finance professionals.
• Understanding public and private financial sector capacity building needs in EMDEs.
• Proven ability to work in multi-stakeholder environments with international and domestic organisations.
• Strong network across international financial institutions and capacity-building funders.
• Excellent communicator, trainer and relationship manager across diverse backgrounds and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Undertake market and institutional needs analyses to identify capacity building gaps.
• Facilitate co-creation of capacity-building initiatives with GCBC members.
• Design and facilitate climate and sustainable finance training programs for financial institutions and regulators in EMDEs.
• Support MEL frameworks to assess effectiveness of capacity-building delivery.
• Curate and promote content to raise GCBC profile through digital channels.
• Represent GCBC at events and capacity-building fora.
