Job summary

Qualifications

• To apply for this post, you must have an environmental degree or equivalent qualification with knowledge of environmental management and climate adaptation.
• Experience in developing and managing environmental policies, strategies, projects and initiatives including climate adaptation.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to produce reports for diverse audiences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to negotiate and influence to achieve outcomes.
• Experience in leading or managing staff and delivering high performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on development and delivery of climate adaptation work in the Climate Resilience Delivery Plan.
• Support development and delivery of environmental policies and strategies with internal and external partners.
• Produce technical and non-technical reports and deliver workshops requiring data interpretation for broad audiences.
• Present data and information to elected members, communities and stakeholders.
