Job summary

Leicestershire County Council's Climate Resilience team is seeking a lead to develop and deliver climate adaptation work as part of the Climate Resilience Delivery Plan. You will work with internal and external partners and communities to implement policies and strategies, and present data and reports to diverse audiences.

You will produce technical and non-technical reports and run workshops, including data interpretation and stakeholder engagement, to achieve council commitments and

Qualifications

• Relevant environmental degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering environmental policies and climate adaptation projects.
• Ability to analyse data and produce reports for stakeholders.
• Able to work with partners in workshops and build relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with negotiation ability.
• Experience managing staff and leading high performance.
