Job summary

Valitana LLC is seeking a Senior Associate, Client Services in the United Kingdom. You will become an expert in Valitana’s multi-asset class platform, delivering white-glove service to clients and guiding them through features to maximize platform value.

Responsibilities include supporting hedge funds, banks, trustees, and CLO/ABL managers; analyzing fixed income and deal structures; ensuring SMA compliance; and developing client-specific data workflows using the Vantage plugin.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in math, engineering, finance, or financial operations with client-facing duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Honours bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Familiarity with collateralized loan obligations is a plus.
• Python is a plus but not required.

Position Overview

Valitana is seeking a talented Senior Associate, Client Services to support our client success team in the United Kingdom. The individual in this role will become an expert in Valitana’s multi‑asset class trade and portfolio management system, providing a white glove service to our clients, and helping them maximize the platform’s potential by guiding them through its features and providing solutions for their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality support to Valitana’s clients such as Hedge Funds, Banks, Trustees, Insurance firms, and CLO/ABL Managers.
• Analyze financial metrics and dive into fixed income, private credit, and various deal structures including ABL (Asset‑based Lending) and CLO’s (Collateralized Loan Obligations).
• Assist with maintaining compliance for SMA (Separately Managed Accounts) and compliance for managed deals.
• Provide effective guidance to users on leveraging Valitana’s Vantage platform.
• Use advanced Excel skills to develop spreadsheets for client‑specific needs using the Valitana plugin for data integration and calculations.
• Assist clients in uploading and managing data within the Vantage platform. Build custom metrics and workflows for clients and prospects.
• Light travel may be required and should be no more than 10% for conferences and other work‑related events in or around the UK, EU, and USA area based on firm needs.

Qualifications

• 5‑8+ years of professional work experience in a role related to Math, Engineering, Finance, or Financial Operations. Client‑facing experience is required.
• 1+ years management or mentorship experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with collateralized loan obligations.
• Ability to comprehend complex financial concepts of structured finance products.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Resourceful with the ability to work independently as well as a team.
• Honours bachelor’s degree (BA/Bsc Hons) from an accredited university.
• Python is a plus but not required.

What We Offer

This is a remote position and the base salary range for this role is GBP 70,000 – 100,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive all UK statutory benefits, including a workplace pension scheme with employer contributions, statutory annual leave, statutory sick pay, and statutory family leave entitlements.
