East Grinstead, United Kingdom — TPF Recruitment Ltd seeks a qualified accountant to take ownership of an established client portfolio, focusing on high-quality, proactive service. The role centres on client management, without formal team management duties, with strong earning potential.

The successful candidate will manage 180–200 clients across barristers, judges, limited companies, property clients and trusts, delivering accounts and tax work while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA or another recognised accountancy qualification, or be chartered.
• Experience as Client Manager or senior level in an accountancy practice.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and overseeing accounts and tax work.
• Strong client relationship management skills and ability to build trust.
• Excellent organisation with ability to manage a varied portfolio and deadlines.
• Proactive, commercially aware with focus on service and relationships.
• Independent working style with liaison to Partners and clients.
• Experience with professional services clients (advantageous).

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of an established client portfolio and act as main point of contact.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 180–200 clients across specialist areas.
• Build relationships and understand individual client requirements.
• Oversee delivery of accounts, tax returns and compliance work.
• Coordinate with the wider team to ensure efficient, consistent service.
• Respond to client queries and provide guidance on accounting and tax matters.
• Proactively manage deadlines, workflow and client expectations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and performance.
• Maintain high standards of client service, professionalism and technical quality.
• Collaborate with Partners and colleagues to ensure smooth portfolio operation.
