Job summary

Senior Client Manager in West Yorkshire within an strong independent accountancy practice, you'll oversee key client relationships and ensure their accounting needs are met efficiently. Your role involves managing a portfolio, providing strategic advice and supporting financial goals, as well as organizing staff to boost efficiency and productivity.

You'll liaise with clients at a senior partner level, supervise at least four accountants, and handle accounts prep and tax returns for diverse

Qualifications

• Management accounts experience
• Excellent working knowledge of accounts preparation for a range of businesses including Sole Traders, Ltd Companies and Partnerships, including LLPs
• Ability to prepare accounts to a high standard
• Ability to use own initiative, to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A good working knowledge of accounting software, preferably CCH, Sage and Xero
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients at a senior partner level
• Supervise the work of a minimum of four accountants
• Accounts preparation from both incomplete records and computerised records
• Carry out company and personal tax return preparation
• Manage your own portfolio
• Review the work of other employees
• Liaise with clients on all accounting matters
• Carry out client visits
• Other ad-hoc projects as they rise
