Job Description:

As the Senior Client Manager, this role involves managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, primarily limited companies across industries such as retail, manufacturing, property, services, and some charities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Being the primary contact for smaller clients
2. Handling calls and emails
3. Providing tax planning and business advisory services
4. Reviewing draft accounts and VAT returns
5. Preparing business tax computations
6. Offering mentoring to assistants
7. Reviewing self-assessment tax returns for business owners
8. Identifying social media opportunities

Candidate requirements:

• Experience with Cloud accounting software such as XERO or QuickBooks
• Enthusiastic, driven, and ambitious
• Enjoys business advisory work

Additional details:

• Hours: Flexible core hours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, 37.5 hours per week
• Salary: £50,000 per annum
• Location: Commutable from Stafford, Stone, Cannock, Uttoxeter, Newport, Telford, Wolverhampton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent
• Preferred candidates: ICAEW/ACCA qualified Client Managers
