We are looking for an experienced Client Manager with a passion for customer service to join our Property & Casualty team. Our P&C team works to empower businesses by meeting their needs so they can take care of their employees and clients. In this role, you will:

  1. Work with various insurance industry personnel to revise coverage, renew, and create insurance policies and proposal packages — handles presentation of same.
  2. Coordinate logistics of the overall account management process in conjunction with Producers.
  3. Issue and process various insurance documents, such as Certificates of Insurance, invoicing, renewals, etc.
  4. Review customer contracts to ensure compatibility of coverages with contract requirements.
  5. Review policies for accuracy and follow-up on needed corrections.
  6. Provide high-level assistance to clients and customers to resolve business account issues satisfactorily.
  7. Support existing accounts and clients by answering questions, providing documentation, and interpreting policy coverage.
  8. Perform cross-functional tasks and serve as backup to other staff or management.
  9. Identify potential exposures of existing clients and recommend suitable coverage.
  10. Input information and track activities in account management system software.
  11. Assist in designing workflows and training for the commercial lines staff.

You have:

  • High school diploma and 5-10 years of account management/customer service experience in Commercial Lines - Property and Casualty insurance.
  • Current Property and Casualty license in Alabama.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Experience with software programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Basic mathematical skills for policy needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects effectively.

You may also have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, CRM, CPCU.
  • Experience with agency management systems like Vertafore, AMS360, etc.
  • Experience with presentations for internal and external audiences.
